The Upper St. Clair Track and Field Team competed at the WPIAL Championships today as the Panthers placed a number of athletes.
Panther medalists in their events were:
Dani Prunzik won the WPIAL Championship in both the 100 meters and 200 meters
Sadie Tomczyk earned 7th place in both the 100 meters and 200 meters
The ladies 4 by 100 meter relay team of Noor El Nokali, Ashley Sanderson, Sadie Tomczyk, and Dani Prunzik finished 2nd in the WPIAL
Sawyer Weinmann earned 5th place in the 3200 meter run
Evan Sarkett finished 7th in the 800 meter run
Tayla Kurzawa placed 7th in the high jump
Sierra Dupree earned 7th place in the 300 meter intermediate hurdles
Congrats to our state championship qualifiers: Dani in the 100 and 200 meters, Sadie in the 200 meters, and our ladies relay team of Noor, Ashley, Sadie, & Dani. The participants will compete next weekend at Shippensburg University
