Meredith Huzjak scored 20 points and Ryan Prunzik chipped in 14 as the Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team defeated Chartiers Valley 53-47 last night. The Panthers were able to get out to a quick start as they built up a 19 point lead over the Colts at halftime. With the win Upper St. Clair moves to 11-9 (5-5) and has now won four out of their last five games. They will return home on Monday when they look to continue their hot streak against Canon-McMillan. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
