On Thursday, the Upper St. Clair Cross Country Team competed at the WPIAL Championships.The girls team finished fifth overall in the AAA Division. Meredith Rhodes and Lydia Rhodes led the Panthers by finishing 11th and 12th respectively, and earned their tickets to the State Championships. Also pitching in on the score sheet were McKenzey Mack, Olivia Gray, and Ellla Unice. The boys team finished 5th overall in the AAA Division. Leading the Panthers was Sawyer Weinmann who finished 12th and earned a ticket to the state meet. Also scoring for the Panthers were Andrew Hess, Caleb Guarino, Ryan Arya, and John Unice. Congratulations to Meredith, Lydia, and Sawyer that will be traveling to Hershey to represent Upper St. Clair in the State Championship on Friday, November 2nd.
