BOOSTER/PARENT/ATHLETE Cross Country Season Kick Off Meeting- This meeting is for all athletes and parents.
The annual USC CROSS COUNTRY booster meeting/athlete pool party will be on Thursday, August 18 at 7:00 PM at the Montclair Pool (end of Sherbrook Drive). Folks may begin to arrive around 6:45 PM to begin the sign in/verify contact information process. We hope to complete this by 7:15 PM. Then the boosters will share information regarding the election of the board, the budget & dues, committees and ways to help (Senior rec, fundraising, banquet, meet snacks, etc.). Coaches will then discuss the program, the season, their expectations, etc. The meeting is outside but under cover. We ask that one parent attend if possible. If you cannot make it, the information will be emailed out later. During the meeting athletes can swim and socialize.
We also ask for each family to bring an item for the pool party as follows:
Seniors: 1 pizza
Jrs: dessert, side dish, or snack- if snack, prefer individually packaged so any leftovers can be repurposed for meet snacks
Soph: case of water bottles (24-36)
Freshmen: 8-12 Gatorades
Other than the pizza and other perishables, any leftovers will go towards our meet snack/drink inventory!
Dues this year will be $80 per athlete. Checks will be accepted at the booster meeting on 8/18 (see below) or can be payable to USCHS XC Boosters or mailed to treasurer (email the usc boosters at uschsxc@gmail.com for mailing address information). New this year! We are also accepting virtual payments using Zelle for Business. If you already have a banking app (most major banks partner with Zelle) simply open then app, navigate to Send Money with Zelle, tap the Send tab, and enter our email address as recipient “uschsxc@gmail.com” . It would be super helpful if you put your child’s name under “Note.”

All parents and athletes should click on the link below to access the 2022 USC XC Team Handbook. There are mandatory TO DO items for both parents and athletes. Additionally, there is information everyone needs to be on the same page throughout the season.
