This past weekend, Upper St. Clair High School Crew participated in the Huron River Sprints Regatta in Milford, MI.  The race took place on an eight lane 1500-meter National Championship level racecourse in Kensington Metro Park.  Over 30 High school teams from all over the mid-west and western Pennsylvania participated.  

The team is excited to announce outstanding results at this highly competitive event!  There were over 350 boats entered in the race and many Upper St Clair boats many it to the finals.  Congratulations to Willow Conley and Raegan Kuhn who took home the silver medal in the Women’s JV 2X.  Even more exciting is that their boat was only 1.5 seconds behind 1st which puts the team in a strong position to go to Nationals again in late May!

• Finalist: Jamie Barrett and Grace Larsen in the Women’s JV 2X

• Finalist: Violet Rizer, Grace Larsen, Kella Jahn, and Jamie Barrett in the Women’s JV 4X

• Finalist: Addison Fitzgerald, Mariana Paradise, Anna Stevens, and Melodi Caliskan in the Women’s JV 4X

Congratulations to the entire team for representing Upper St. Clair High School so well!  Next weekend we’ll be competing in the annual Pittsburgh Sprints Regatta on Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park.
