Sukernek Drops 31 as Panthers Win on Opening Night

The Upper St. Clair Boys Basketball team kicked off its 2022-2023 campaign tonight against Seton LaSalle. In a high scoring affair the Panthers came away with an 87-82 victory. Nick Sukernek led the Panther offense as he netted 31 points and Matt Gaither had a strong night as well as he scored 24. Christian Ito rounded out the double-figure scorers with 15 points of his own. The Panthers will now square off with Fox Chapel tomorrow at 2:30 at Upper St. Clair High School as they look to start the season 2-0.
