The Upper St. Clair Boys Basketball team hosted Woodland Hills tonight in the WPIAL Quarterfinals. The Wolverines, seeded #9 in Class 6A, hung tight with the Panthers for the first quarter, but were outscored by 21 points in the remaining three as Upper St. Clair came away with a 63-41 win. Four Panthers hit the double figure scoring mark as Tyler Robbins led the way with 17 points. Niko Gidas followed with 14, Kaamil Jackson added 11, and Ryan Robbins chipped in 10. The Panthers now advance to the WPIAL Semifinals where they will take on Pittsburgh Central Catholic. The two teams squared off twice in the regular season with Upper St. Clair winning both matchups. The game will take place on Monday with the time and place still to be determined.
