The Upper St. Clair Boys Basketball team traveled to Peters Township High School tonight to take on Pittsburgh Central Catholic in the WPIAL Semifinals. The Panthers used a balanced scoring attack and played dominant defense as they took home a 59-39 win and advanced to their 2nd straight WPIAL Championship Game. Jake Foster led the Panthers in the scoring department with 12 points, Tyler Robbins followed him with 10, and Niko Gidas added 9. Upper St. Clair will now take on the #2 seed New Castle in the WPIAL Championship Game. The game will be held at the Petersen Events Center on Friday and is scheduled for a 9:00 pm start.
