USC Cross Country Battles Mount Lebanon and Peters Township

The Upper St. Clair Cross Country team traveled to Mount Lebanon today for section play against Mount Lebanon and Peters Township. The girls team lost to Mount Lebanon but beat Peters Township and the top Panther finisher was Meredith Rhodes. Next on the scoresheet for the girls were Hannah Behm, Ella Unice, Cauley Mack, and Kenzie Mack to round out the string team effort.The boys team beat both Mount Lebanon and Peters Township as Sawyer Weinmann was the top finisher. Evan Sarkett, Andrew Hess, Caleb Guarino, and Henry Ginsburg all pitched in on the team score to keep the Panther boys undefeated. Next up is the Panther’s home competition on Tuesday September 27th at the Boyce Mayview Park. Races begin at 4:00 PM.
