USC Cross Country Has Strong Performance on Senior Night; Weinmann Sets School Record

The Upper St. Clair Cross Country Team hosted Baldwin and Bethel Park today at Boyce Mayview Park. Before the meet the team honored their seniors and capped off a successful day with both the Boys and Girls defeating Baldwin and Bethel Park. Meredith Rhodes led the charge for Upper St. Clair as the first lady Panther finisher. Pitching in on the wins were Hannah Behm, Ella Unice, Cauley Mack, and Kenzie Mack.
The ladies now have a section record of 4-2. On the boys side, Sawyer Weinmann won the race, setting a new course and school record with a time of 15:58.5. Evan Sarkett, Andrew Hess, Caleb Guarino, and John Unice were the next Panther finishers. The boys are currently undefeated with a record of 6-0. The Panthers will wrap up section play next Tuesday at Wylandville Elementary against Canon McMillan and South Fayette.
