USC Cross Country Competes at WPIAL Championships

On Thursday, the Cross Country team Competed at the WPIAL Championships at Roadman Park. The Girls team earned an 8th place team finish in the AAA Division. Meredith Rhodes was the top USC finisher, earning a trip to the state championship. Next up for Panthers were Lydia Rhodes, Hannah Behm, Ella Unice, Macauley Mack, Olivia Gray, and Mckenzey Mack. On the Boys side, the team earned a 4th place team finish- matching a best ever ranking by USC. Sawyer Weinmann and Evan Sarkett both earned trips to the state championship. Next up for the Panthers were Caleb Guarino, Andrew Hess, Ryan Arya, John Unice, and Nolan Sarkett. Also a special thanks to Jillian Fishell and Jake Polochak - both integral parts of our WPIAL teams. The next stop is the state championships in Hershey for Meredith, Sawyer, and Evan.
