USC Boys Lacrosse Falls in WPIAL Semifinals

The Upper St. Clair Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Fox Chapel High School last night to take on 2nd seed Shady Side Academy. The Panthers came out playing well, leading after the first quarter by one and then extending that lead to three at halftime. The Bulldogs, however, made some halftime adjustments to throw the Panthers off as they outscored them by seven goals in the third quarter and held onto that lead in the fourth for a 13-8 win. The Panthers will now be back in action on either Wednesday or Thursday when they will take on North Allegheny in the WPIAL 3rd Place game with a PIAA Playoff berth on the line. The time and location of the game are also to be determined.
