The Upper St. Clair Girls Lacrosse team hosted Penn Trafford tonight in a WPIAL Quarterfinal matchup. The Panthers, who rolled to a victory earlier in the season over the Warriors, started slow, but used a big second half to pull away for a 14-7 win. Mea Musillo led the charge, scoring 4 goals, and Riley Powell added 3 of her own. Anna Capobres and Sierra Besselman also chipped in 2 goals a piece in the win. The victory advances Upper St. Clair to the WPIAL Semifinals where they will square off with rival Mount Lebanon. The game will take place on Monday, May 19th with the site and time to be determined.
