The Upper St. Clair Boys Tennis team hosted Shady Side Academy today at the USC Tennis Courts. A close match ensued, but the Panthers prevailed 3-2 to keep their unbeaten record. Ari Plutko and Ronan Gibbons each won their singles matches as Plutko won in straight sets 7-6 (5), 6-3, and Gibbons won in three sets 6-3, 5-7, 6-1. The doubles team consisting of Aadi Markose and Shawn Khurana also won their match 6-7, 6-3, 6-4. The Panthers now move to 9-0 on the season and will be back in action on Monday when they will host Penn Trafford. Game time is scheduled for 3:30 pm.
