The Upper St. Clair Softball team traveled to Connellsville today for a section matchup with the Falcons. The Panthers, who were previously unbeaten on the season, suffered their first loss 10-1. Syd Fisher was a bright spot for Upper St. Clair as she hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Ava Pries and Maggie Dowd also registered hits for the Panthers. The loss brings Upper St. Clair to 4-1 on the season and they will look to rebound on Monday when they will host Chartiers Valley. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
