USC Softball Drops Non-Section Game Against Chartiers Valley

The Upper St. Clair Softball team hosted Chartiers Valley tonight in a non-section game at Boyce-Mayview Park. The Panthers recorded seven hits on the evening but were unable to convert them to runs as they fell 7-0. Brooklyn Kemp tossed all seven innings on the mound and struck out seven Colts in her outing while also going 3-4 at the plate. Ava Pries had a multi-hit game for the Panthers in the loss as well. Upper St. Clair will return to section play on Wednesday when they will host Trinity. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
