Scharrer's Walk-Off Leads USC Softball to Win

Rachel Scharrer hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 1-1 tie and give the Upper St. Clair Softball team a 2-1 win over Plum last night. Brooklyn Kemp, Caroline Bernard, and Lainie Guarino all recorded multi-hit games for the Panthers who now bring their record to 7-9 on the season. The Panthers will round out their 2024 season on Wednesday when they will travel to Mount Lebanon. First pitch is scheduled for 4:15 pm.
