The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team traveled to North Allgheny last night to square up with the defending Class 4A WPIAL and PIAA Champions. The Panthers came out hot taking the first two sets, winning the first one 25-21 and the second 25-22. The third set was a back and forth battle which saw the Tigers squeeze out a 25-23 win to keep the match alive. North Allegheny used their momentum to then take a 25-20 win in set four and ultimately defeated the Panthers 15-3 in the final set to win 3-2. Hayden Culp and Megan Hufnagel led the Panther charge last night as Culp finished with a team-high 17 kills and Hufnagel followed her with 11 of her own. The Panthers will look to bounce back on Thursday when they will host Baldwin in the first match of a four game home-stand. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
