USC Cross Country Competes in Final Section Meet

The Upper St. Clair Cross Country team traveled to Fairview Park yesterday to take on South Fayette and Canon-McMillan for their last section meet of the season. The boys team went on to defeat Canon-McMillan, but fell to South Fayette. Top Panther finishers were Caleb Guarino, Andrew Hess, Ryan Arya, and Nolan Sarkett. The boys Cross Country team finished with a 5-3 section record. On the girls side the Panthers took down both Canon-McMillan and South Fayette. Top Panther finishers were Meredith Rhodes, Lydia Rhodes, McKenzey Mack, Olivia Gray, and Hannah Bremm and the girls finished their section season with a 7-1 record. Upper St. Clair will be back in action next Thursday when they will travel to compete in the Mingo Classic.
