USC Cross Country Runs at Mingo Classic

The Upper St. Clair Cross Country Team competed at the Mingo Classic yesterday. On the guys side, Caleb Guarino won the AAA Varsity race with a time of 16 minutes 11 seconds to lead the Boys team to a 2nd place overall team finish. Also on the score sheet was John Unice, Nolan Sarkett, Humberto Ruiz, and Caden Sarkett. On the girls side, Meredith Rhodes finished second overall in the AAA Varsity race with a time of 18 minutes 55 seconds. She led the Girls team to a 4th place overall team finish. Next in for the Panthers was McKenzey Mack, Kiley Baran, Stella Birmingham, and Hope Waldron. In the JV races, Daegan Duffy won the boys race, and Sidney Schalk finished 16th.
