The Upper St. Clair Track & Field team hosted their first official meet of the year yesterday, the Rust Buster Invite, where close to 700 athletes competed.

Gold Medal Invite Winners in their events were:
Dani Prunzik in the 100 meters and 200 meters; Sadie Tomczyk in the 400 meter dash; Evan Sarkett in the 800 meter run; Sawyer Weinmann in the 1600 meter run; Lydia Rhodes in the 3200 meter run; Evie Ellenberger in the pole vault; Cody Marn in the high jump

Other top Panther medalists were: In the discus, Silver by Taryn Kurzawa; In the long jump, Bronze by Emily Powell; In the high jump, Bronze by Tayla Kurzawa; In the 100 meter sprint, Silver by Sadie Tomczyk, Silver by Carter Chui, & Bronze by Aidan Besselman; In the 200 meter dash, Bronze by Sadie Tomczyk & by Carter Chui; In the 400 meter dash, Silver by Ashley Sanderson; In the 1600 meter run, Silver by Meredith Rhodes and Bronze by Lydia Rhodes; In the 3200 meter run, Bronze by Oliva Gray
