The Upper St. Clair Swimming and Diving team traveled to South Fayette last night to take on the Lions. Both the boys and girls teams came away with victories as the boys won 100-72 and the girls won 98-83. Carter Richie qualified for the WPIAL Championships as now all six Panther divers have qualified. Event winners from last night were:
Girls:
Delaney Burnette - Diving
Kaitlyn Connors - 200 IM and 100 Breast
Amanda Aidar - 50 Free
Boys:
Griffin Tomsheck - 200 Free
Ben Whiteford - 200 IM
Pavel Schabanow - 50 Free and 500 Free
Nazar Zoukovski - 100 Fly and 100 Back
Matthew Fibbi - 100 Breast
With the win the boys team now moves to 5-1 on the year and the girls move to 4-2. The Panthers will return to action next week when they will host Bethel Park. The meet will start at 5:00 and senior recognition will start at 4:30 pm.
