The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team traveled to Altoona High School tonight for a matchup with Cedar Cliff High School in the PIAA Quarterfinals. The Panthers battled throughout the game but ultimately fell to Cedar Cliff 39-22. The loss brings the Panther season to a close, but they finish as WPIAL Runner-Ups, PIAA Quarterfinalists, and with a 23-4 record. Congratulations to all the seniors on a successful four seasons!

Panthers Win: 42 - 31
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team made the trip to Chambersburg High School tonight to take on Pennsbury in the Second Round of the PIAA Tournament. The Panthers didn't let the long trip affect their start as they jumped out to a 13 point lead at halftime. Pennsbury would make some adjustments out of the locker room as they held the Panthers without a field goal in the third quarter and closed the gap to one. Upper St. Clair would then reclaim control of the game and came out with the 42-31 win. Rylee Kalocay paced the Panther offense as she led all scorers with 25 points, while Kate Robbins would follow her with nine. The girls have now moved on to the PIAA Quarterfinals and will take on Cedar Cliff High School on Friday. The site and time of the game are still to be determined.
USC Girls Basketball Takes Down McDowell in PIAA Opening Round

Panthers Win: 56 - 34
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted McDowell tonight in the first round of the PIAA playoffs. After suffering a defeat in the WPIAL Championship game last Friday the girls looked to bounce back. They did just that as they took down McDowell 56-34. Rylee Kalocay would lead the way as she netted 30 points and Kate Robbins followed her with 10. The win keeps the girls season alive and they will be back in action on Tuesday, March 14th where they will await the winner of Nazareth and Pennsbury. The site and time of the game is still to be determined.

Panthers Lose: 45 - 71
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team looked to claim a WPIAL title last night as they took on North Allegheny at the Petersen Events Center. Playing without Sam Prunzik, the teams starting Point Guard, the Panthers knew they would have to step up to fill that void. Unfortunately, it was not their night as the girls fell to North Allegheny by a score of 71-45. Rylee Kalocay led the Panthers with 24 points and Kate Robbins chipped in 10. With the 2nd place finish in the WPIAL, Upper St. Clair's hope for a PIAA Championship are still alive. The team will look to rebound when they start that quest on Friday, March 10th. The opponent and details of the game are still to be determined.

Panthers Win: 58 - 33
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team squared off with Mount Lebanon tonight with a WPIAL Championship berth at stake. The Panthers defense held the Blue Devils to only 10 points in the first half as they built themselves a 13 point lead going into the locker room. The girls continued to build on that and ended up taking home a 58-33 victory. Four Panthers scored in double figures as Rylee Kalocay led the way with 13, Paige Delicarri followed her with 12, Mia Brown netted 11, and Kate Robbins chipped in 10. The Panthers will now move on to face North Allegheny on Friday, March 3rd at the Petersen Events Center. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Panthers Win: 60 - 43
The #1 seeded Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted Peters Township tonight in the Quarterfinals of the WPIAL Class 6A Playoffs. The Panthers swept the Indians in the regular season with wins of 73-56 on January 3rd and 61-47 on January 26th. Tonight the girls defeated Peters Township for the third time, this time by a score of 60-43. The Panthers started off slowly after their two week layoff as the game was tied after the first quarter, but slowly but surely they broke away from the Indians for the 17 point win. The starting five for the Panthers contributed all 60 of the teams points as Rylee Kalocay led all scorers with 27 points, Sam Prunzik followed her with 12, Kate Robbins netted 10, Paige Delicarri hit two three pointers as she finished with six, and Mia Brown chipped in five. The Panthers will now square off with rival Mount Lebanon on Monday at a site and time to be determined with a spot in the WPIAL Championship on the line.

Panthers Win: 65 - 31
Upper St. Clair Senior Kate Robbins scored her 1,000th career point tonight as the Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team defeated Bethel Park 65-31. With less than a minute left in the fourth quarter Ava Keating stole a Bethel Park pass and hit Robbins in stride for a layup for her 1,000th point. Robbins would finish the game with 19 points, with 17 of those coming in the second half, Rylee Kalocay scored 22 and Mia Brown chipped in 10. The win moves the Panthers to 19-2 overall on the year and gives them a perfect 12-0 record in section play. The girls will await the announcement of who their next opponent will be as the playoff brackets are set to be revealed on Monday.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team traveled to Canon-McMillan tonight as they looked to complete the season sweep of the Big Macs. The Panthers built a 19 point lead after the first quarter and never looked back as they ended up with a 67-33 win. Mia Brown and Rylee Kalocay combined for 37 points as Brown led all scorers with 20 and Kalocay netted 17. The win moves the girls record to 18-2 (11-0) and they will be back in action on Thursday when they will host Bethel Park for their final section game of the season. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball won their 11th straight game this Saturday as they took down Bethel Park 61-47. The girls led by 20 points at halftime and after Bethel Park cut the Panther lead to seven after the third quarter, Upper St. Clair took back control to come away with the 14 point win. Rylee Kalocay had a dominant showing as she led all scorers with 27 points and Kate Robbins followed her with 14 of her own. The Panthers now move to 17-2 (10-0) and will turn their focus to Canon-McMillan. The girls will ]travel to take on the Big Macs on Tuesday, tip off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

Panthers Win: 73 - 44
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted Chartiers Valley tonight on Senior Recognition night. Prior to the game the 2023 Senior Class consisting of Mia Brown, Paige Dellicarri, Madeline John, Ava Keating, Sam Prunzik, Naomi Richardson, and Kate Robbins were honored. After tip off, the first half was a tight battle as the Panthers led by only six, but a strong second half propelled the team to a 73-44 victory. Dellicarri hit five 3-pointers on the night as she led all scorers with 15 points. Robbins and Rylee Kalocay would follow her with 12 and 11 points, respectively. The win moves the Panthers to 16-2 (9-0) on the year and the girls will be back in action on Saturday when they will travel to Bethel Park. Tip off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team traveled to Mount Lebanon tonight in a matchup that saw the Panthers come in undefeated in section play and the Blue Devils only having two section losses. Upper St. Clair, who hasn't lost a game since the calendar flipped to 2023, came out strong as they led by 18 points at halftime. The Blue Devils did not go away quietly as they would cut the Panther lead to four points in the second half, but clutch free throw shooting by Upper St. Clair helped them to a 52-44 win. Rylee Kalocay and Mia Brown led the Panthers in the scoring department as Kalocay dropped 20 points and Brown chipped in 12. The win moves the girls to 15-2 (8-0) on the season and they will be back in action on Thursday when they will host Chartiers Valley. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Kate Robbins scored 30 points to lead the Panthers to a 67-43 win as they extended their win streak to eight games. Rylee Kalocay followed Robbins as she chipped in 15 points in the win. The Panthers now move to 14-2 (7-0) on the year and will be back in action Monday when they will travel to rival Mont Lebanon to take on the Blue Devils. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

Tonight was no different as the girls led from start to finish and came away with a 61-47 win. Rylee Kalocay led all scorers as she scored 26 points, while Kate Robbins netted 15, and Mia Brown chipped in 13. The win moves the Panthers to 13-2 (7-0) on the season and the team will travel to Bethel Park on Saturday where they will square off with Highlands in the "Joey Fabus Memorial Classic." Tip off is scheduled for 12:00 PM.

Panthers Win: 56 - 45
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted Norwin last night in a non-section matchup between the top two ranked teams in Class 6A. The Knights came into the game ranked #1 holding a record of 14-1, as the Panthers held a record of 11-2, coming in ranked #2. Upper St. Clair made their presence felt early as they jumped out to a 10-3 lead after the first quarter and continued to build on that as they led by as much as 21 points in the third. Norwin would make a run late in the second half to cut the game to four points, but clutch free throw shooting down the stretch propelled the Panthers to a 56-45 victory. Four Panthers scored in double figures as Kate Robbins and Rylee Kalocay led the way with 14 points each. Mia Brown would follow them with 12 and Olivia Terlecki chipped in 11 as well. The win moves the Panthers to 12-2 (6-0) and the team will look to extend their current six game winning streak when they will host Peters Township on Thursday. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Panthers Win: 63 - 38
The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team started their second round of section play tonight with a trip to Baldwin. Earlier in the season the girls defeated the Highlanders 66-49 and tonight they stayed unbeaten in section play with a 63-38 win. Rylee Kalocay, who was recently named the Trib High School Sports Network WPIAL Girls Basketball Player of the Week, continued her strong play as she led all scorers with 23 points. Kate Robbins reached double figures as well for the Panthers as she chipped in 15. The win moves the girls to 11-2 (6-0) on the season and sets up a matchup of the #1 and #2 ranked teams in Class 6A on Monday when the Panthers will welcome Norwin to town for a non-section matchup. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team traveled to Chartiers Valley tonight for a section matchup with the Colts. A closely contested first half saw the Panthers trailing by two at the half way mark, but a strong final 16 minutes pushed the Panthers to a 65-53 victory. Upper St. Clair was led by Rylee Kalocay, who scored a game high 21 points, Mia Brown, who poured in 19 points, and Sam Prunzik, who added in 16 points. The win moves the Panthers to 9-2 (4-0) on the year and the team will be back in action Thursday when they will host Canon-McMillan. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted rival Mount Lebanon tonight in a key WPIAL Class 6A Section 2 matchup. The Panthers started off hot as they built a 10 point lead after the first quarter thanks in part to three 3-pointers by Paige Dellicarri. The Panthers continued to build that lead up to 14 at halftime and eventually took home a 57-39 victory. Dellicarri added one more three pointer in the second half as she finished with 12 points. Kate Robbins showed a strong inside and outside game as she led all scorers with 20 points and Rylee Kalocay netted 11 points for the Panthers. The win moves the girls record to 8-2 (3-0) and they will be back in action on Monday when they will travel to Chartiers Valley. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team traveled to Peters Township tonight for a section matchup with the Indians. With the Panthers coming into the contest at 6-2 (1-0) and the Indians coming in at 8-2 (2-0) it made for a heavyweight matchup early in the season. The Panthers took control early as they led by 17 going into halftime and kept the foot on the gas, coming away with a 73-56 victory. Rylee Kalocay led all scorers with 29 points, Kate Robbins followed with 18 of her own, and Kate Moore contributed 10. The Panthers move to 7-2 (2-0) and will welcome Mt. Lebanon to town on Thursday in a rematch of the 2022 WPIAL Championship game. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted Baldwin tonight for their first section contest of the 2022-23 season. The Panthers fought off a scrappy Baldwin squad and took home a 66-49 victory. Kate Robbins was a dominant force as she led all scorers with 25 points. Olivia Terlecki followed Robbins as she tallied 10 points in the win. The Panthers move to 4-1 (1-0) on the season and will return to action next week when they travel south to Florida to play in the KSA Tournament.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball team hosted Thomas Jefferson tonight in their first home game of the 2022-23 campaign. The girls carried over their momentum from the weekend to defeat the Jaguars 74-43. Four Panthers reached the double figure scoring mark as Rylee Kalocay led all scorers with 20 points, Paige Dellicarri followed her with 12 coming off of four 3 pointers, and Sam Prunzik and Olivia Terlecki each chipped in 11. The girls now move to 2-1 on the season and will be back in action on Monday when they will host Bishop Canevin. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
