The Panthers were able to grab a lead after one quarter, leading by one, but the Blue Devils took over from there as they defeated the Panthers 21-9. Upper St. Clair finishes the season with an overall record of 13-4 and will look to build off their 2024 season.

The Upper St. Clair Boys Lacrosse team hosted Peters Township last night in the WPIAL Quarterfinals. The Panthers got off to a bit of a slow start, but rallied and came home with a 16-13 win. Ryan Buonomo led the team with four goals while Holden Rickel, Oscar Leimkuehler, and Dalton Yates each scored three. With the win the Panthers move on to the WPIAL Semifinals where they will take on #2 seed Mount Lebanon on Monday. The time and place of the game is still to be determined.
The Upper St. Clair Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Pine Richland last night for a non section match up with the Rams. The Panthers continued their recent stretch of strong play, taking down the Rams 15-8. Ryan Buonomo led Upper St. Clair with seven goals and Holden Rickel followed him with four of his own. The Panthers finish the regular season with a 12-3 (6-1) record and will await the announcement of their playoff opponent. The WPIAL is set to release the playoff brackets on May 10th.

The Panthers fed off the crowd energy early and rolled to a 17-7 victory over the Blackhawks. Five Panthers had multi-goal games as Dalton Yates led the bunch with three while Oscar Leimkuehler, Nathan Haberman, Cooper Rackley, and Ryan Buonomo each chipped in two. The Panthers will wrap up their 2024 regular season tomorrow as they will travel to Pine Richland. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

With the score tied 8-8 to start the second half, the Panthers put on a dominant showing outscoring the Vikings 10-1 in the last 24 minutes and took home a 18-9 victory. Dalton Yates led the way with eight total goals in the game while Holden Rickel and Ryan Buonomo each chipped in four. The Panthers will be at home on Monday as they will host Bethel Park on Senior Recognition Night. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Panthers scored a 15-14 double overtime come from behind victory in their season opener. Holden Rickel netted the game winner and also led the team with five goals, while Ryan Buonomo scored four goals, including the tying goal to send the game to overtime. The Panthers will return to action on Tuesday when they will travel to Hempfield to take on the Spartans. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
