Panthers Lose: -
The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted Peters Township tonight as they looked to snap their current two game skid. The bad fortune for the Panthers continued as they were defeated by Peters Township in straight sets. The Indians took the first set 25-15, the second 25-14, and closed out the Panthers with a 25-22 win in set three. Alex Culp led the Panthers tonight as she registered eight kills. Upper St. Clair will be back in action on Tuesday when they will host Canon-McMillan. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted Bethel Park last night for a section matchup against the Blackhawks as they looked to avenge a 3-0 sweep against Bethel Park earlier in the season. The Blackhawks continued to have the Panthers number as they came away with a 3-1 victory. The Panthers will look to get back on the winning track when they will be back at home against Peters Township on Thursday. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
USC Girls Volleyball Takes Down Norwin in Five Sets

Panthers Win: 3 - 2
The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted Norwin tonight in a non-section affair. In a back-and-forth battle with the Knights, the Panthers emerged victorious. After taking the first set 25-14, the Panthers fell 24-26 in the second set, battled back for a 26-24 win in set three, dropped set four 18-25, and ultimately took set five 15-12 for the three sets to two win. Senior Alex Culp was a force for Upper St. Clair as she registered 22 kills on the night. The Panthers will be back in action on Saturday where they will host the Upper St. Clair tournament. The first match of the day is scheduled for 8:00 am.
USC Girls Volleyball Falls in Five Sets to South Fayette

Panthers Lose: 2 - 3
The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted South Fayette last night in a non-section matchup. After taking the first set 25-23, the Panthers lost sets two and three, 25-21 and 25-20, respectively. In a back-and-forth fourth set Upper St. Clair showed their toughness battling back with a 29-27 win. Ultimately, the fifth set did not go the Panthers way as they fell 15-10 and suffered the 3 sets to 2 defeat. Alex Culp led the Panthers with 12 kills, Carli Casey followed her with 11, and Grace Triebsch had 10. The Panthers will be back in action Tuesday, September 6th where they will host Norwin at 7:30.
