Panthers Lose: 1 - 3
The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team traveled to Pine Richland tonight for a matchup with the 4-seeded Rams in the WPIAL Quarterfinals. After dropping the first two sets, the Panthers rallied to take set three in the best of five match. The fourth set, which was the closest of the four, unfortunately did not go the Panthers way as they wound up suffering a 3-1 defeat. The Panthers finish the 2023 season with a 13-3 record. Set by set scores from tonights match were: 25-19 PR, 25-18 PR, 25-17 USC, 25-22 PR.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted Fox Chapel last night in the first round of the WPIAL Playoffs. The 5-seeded Panthers defeated the 12-seeded Foxes in straight sets to advance to the WPIAL Quarterfinals as Hayden Culp led the way for Upper St. Clair as she registered 13 kills on the night. The Panthers will be back in action on Thursday when they will square off with 4-seeded Pine Richland with a spot in the WPIAL Semifinals on the line. The time and location of the game are still to be determined. Set by set scores of last nights match were: 25-21 USC, 25-11 USC, 25-14 USC.

Panthers Win: 3 - 0
The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted Mount Lebanon tonight as the team honored their 2024 Senior Class before the match. Once the match started, the Panthers dominated from start to finish. Hayden Culp led the was as she registered 12 kills in the 3-0 Panther sweep. Upper St. Clair finishes the regular season with a 12-2 record and will await the playoff seedings to determine their next opponent.
USC Girls Volleyball Mounts Comeback to Defeat Canon-McMillan

Panthers Win: 3 - 2
The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team hosted section-leading Canon-McMillan last night and in a back-and-forth match, the Panthers won 3-2. Upper St. Clair grabbed the first set before Canon-McMillan won sets two and three. In the fourth set, the Panthers trailed 24-22 and came back to win the set 27-25 to force a fifth and final set, in which the Panthers won 15-8. The Panther win snapped a 16-match section winning streak for Canon-McMillan. Upper St. Clair will be back in action on Thursday when they will host Mount Lebanon for the teams 2023 regular season finale. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm. Set by set scores from last nights match were: 25-20 USC, 25-20 CM, 25-19 CM, 27-25 USC, 15-8 USC.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team traveled to the Norwin tournament this Saturday. The Panthers advanced to the Championship match after defeating #4 Penn Trafford 25-22 in the semifinals. After the semifinals the Panthers squared off with #3 Seneca Valley in the championship match and suffered a 25-23 defeat for their second place finish. Upper St. Clair will return to section play on Tuesday when they will host Canon-McMillan. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team traveled to Peters Township last night for a section matchup with the Indians. In a back-and-forth five set match the Panthers ultimately fell 3-2. Set by set scores from the match were: 25-18 USC, 28-26 PT, 25-18 USC, 25-18 PT, 15-13 PT. The Panthers will return to the court this Saturday as they will head to Norwin for the Norwin Tournament.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team traveled to Mount Lebanon tonight as they looked to get back to their winning ways. The Panthers found themselves in a 2-0 deficit after two sets, but rallied to win the final three sets and came home with a 3-2 win. Set by set scores from tonights match were: 25-21 Mt. Lebanon, 28-26 Mt. Lebanon, 25-21 USC, 25-15 USC, 15-13 USC. The Panthers will be back in action on Thursday, October 5 when they will travel to Baldwin. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Volleyball team held their annual USC Tournament this Saturday and took home a second place finish. After going 5-1 in pool play the Panthers defeated Armstrong 25-15 in the Quarterfinals, then defeated Canon-McMillan 25-22 in the Semifinals, and eventually fell 25-21 to North Catholic in the Championship match. The Panthers will resume section play on Tuesday when they will host Baldwin. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Panthers will return to the court this Saturday as they will host the USC Tournament.
