The Upper St. Clair Indoor Track team traveled to Youngstown State for competition on Saturday. Top performers for USC were: Dani Prunzik won the 60 meter sprint with her fastest time of the season. Sadie Tomczyk placed 3rd in the 60 meter sprint and 2nd in the 200 meter dash. Carter Chui placed 4th in the 60 meter sprint, and 8th in the 200 meter dash. Sawyer Weinmann placed 3rd  Noor El Nokali placed 5th in the 400 meter dash. Dhruv Saggi placed 6th in the high jump. Lydia Rhodes placed 7th in the thirty-two hundred meter run. Anna Engleman placed 7th in the triple jump. Top Panther relay teams were: Women's 4 by 200 meter relay of Sadie Tomczyk; Noor El Nokali, Emily Powell, Ashley Sanderson placing 4th. Men's 4 by 200 meter relay of Carter Chui, Matthew Earley, Brandon Megonnell, Nico Amatangelo placing 7th. On Saturday January 28th, the Indoor Track & Field Team competed at their 3rd competition of the season at Edinboro University. Top USC finishers at the meet were... Upper Saint Clair Indoor Track and Field traveled to Edinboro for their first competition of the 2023 season this past Friday.   Top athletes in their events were: Dani Prunzik, ran the fastest women's 60 meter time in the trials.  Dani currently is ranked 9th in the state in the 60 meters. Evan Sarkett won the 800 meter run, moving into 5th all time in the USC record books. Carter Chui, earned 2nd place overall in the 60 meter sprint, 3rd in the 200 meter dash, and 8th place in the long jump. Sawyer Weinmann finished 2nd in the 3k run, moving into 2nd all time on the USC record books.  He is currently ranked 10th in the state in the 3k. Sadie Tomczyk earned 7th place in the 60 meters, and 6th place in the 400 meter dash. Sadie's time puts her at 5th all time on the USC record books. Emily Powell long jumped 15 feet, 2.5 inches which puts her at 2nd all time on the USC record books. Dhruv Saggi finished 6th in the high jump. Top relay teams were: 5th place by the Ladies four by 200 meter relay team of Ashley Sanderson, Noor El Nokali, Emily Powell, and Sadie Tomczyk 8th place by the Mens Distance Medley Relay team of Jake Polochak, Ryan Arya, Caleb Guarino, and Evan Sarkett.   The team will travel back to Edinboro on Saturday, January 21st for their next competition.   Click on THIS LINK to access complete results from TSTCA #1.
