USC Girls Soccer Extends Shutout Streak to Three Games with Win Over Hempfield

The Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team traveled to Hempfield last night as they opened up section play. After not allowing a goal during the South Park Tournament, goalkeepers Cam Friday, Madison Webb, and Braidyn Recker continued their strong play as they combined for another shutout. The Panthers would go on to defeat the Spartans 15-0 and a plethora of players found the back of the net. Sierra Dupre netted four goals, Helena Walker scored three, and each of the following players scored one: Mary Mascaro, Kate Moore, Sarah Ripley, Anelise Castrodale, Abby Mascaro, Meredith Huzjak, Angie Stein, and Callie Roberts. The Panthers now move to 3-0 on the season and will be back in action on Wednesday when they will host Baldwin. Game time is scheduled for 7:45 pm.
