The Upper St. Clair Baseball team opened up their 2024 season against Mount Lebanon today. The Panthers held a 3-0 lead through 5 1/2 innings before the Blue Devils scored two runs in both the bottom of the sixth and bottom of the seventh to defeat the Panthers, 4-3. Aidan Crochier started his season off in a big way, hitting a home run and driving in two of the three Panther runs. Brayden Wells got the start on the mound for Upper St. Clair, going 6 1/3 innings while striking out four. The Panthers will look to rebound next Thursday when they will host Central Valley. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
