USC Baseball Gets First Section Win

The Upper St. Clair Baseball team traveled to Trinity last night for the first of the two game series against the Hillers. The Panthers came home with a 8-4 win for their first section victory of the season. Nolan Wilson got the start on the mound, going 4 ⅓ innings and striking out 8. Wilson also was one of three Panthers to record multi-hit games at the plate going 2-4 with 3 RBI's. Eli Mandler and Nico D'Orazio also had 2 hits each, with one of Mandler's being a triple and one of D'Orazio's being a double. Josh Burlingame had a double and drove in 2 runs in the victory as well. The win brings the Panthers record to 5-3 (1-2) on the year and they will look to sweep the season series against Trinity tomorrow when they will host the Hillers at Boyce-Mayview Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
