The Upper St. Clair Baseball team traveled to West Mifflin High School last night to take on Thomas Jefferson in the First Round of the WPIAL Playoffs. Brayden Wells took the mound and threw a solid 5 innings, allowing 3 runs and striking out 7 to keep the Panthers within striking distance. Upper St. Clair's offense was limited, however, as they had only 5 hits in the game. Cooper Stutzman went 2-3, Nolan Wilson doubled, and Tanner Schroeck tripled to lead the Panthers, but they ultimately fell 4-1 to the Jaguars. Upper St. Clair finishes their season with an overall record of 13-7.
