USC Boys Volleyball Falls in First Round of WPIAL Playoffs

The Upper St. Clair Boys Volleyball team traveled to Hempfield last night for a matchup with the 4th seed Spartans in the First Round of the WPIAL Playoffs. The Panthers had a tall task but played well in a back-and-forth match. The first set did not go the Panthers way as they fell 25-11, but they rebounded in set two to even the match with a 25-22 win. The third and fourth sets were tightly contested but the Spartans were able to grab the set three win 33-31 and the set four win 25-23 to claim a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. Upper St. Clair finishes their season with an overall record of 5-9.
