The Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team traveled to Seneca Valley tonight for a WPIAL Quarterfinal match up against the #2 seeded Raiders. The Panthers played even with Seneca Valley for the first 40 minutes as the teams entered the halftime break tied at 0. The Raiders were able to take a 1-0 lead early in the second half and held on to defeat the Panthers 1-0. Upper St. Clair finishes their season with a 10-6-2 record.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team hosted Butler tonight in the first round of the WPIAL Playoffs. Chloe Bird opened the scoring with a penalty kick goal midway through the first half. Butler would score their own penalty kick goal to tie the game at one before Anelise Castrodale put the Panthers ahead 2-1 with seven minutes left in the first half. Meredith Huzjak gave the Panthers some insurance, scoring early in the second and the Panthers held on for the 3-1 win. Upper St. Clair now advances to the Quarterfinal round where they will travel to Seneca Valley to take on the #2 seeded Raiders. The game will be at Seneca Valley High School on Thursday with the time still to be determined.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team traveled to Mount Lebanon last night for the teams final section game of the 2024 season. After a scoreless first half, Abby Mascaro put the Panthers ahead in the second as she found the back of the net to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. The Panthers defense kept the Blue Devils off the scoreboard for the rest of the game and came home with a 1-0 win. Upper St. Clair finishes their regular season with a 9-5-2 (6-2-2) record and the team will now turn their attention to the WPIAL Playoffs as the brackets will be released next week.

Meredith Huzjak scored four goals last night as the Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team defeated Connellsville 7-1. The win snapped the Panthers previous three game losing streak and clinched them a spot in the WPIAL Playoffs. Natalia Disora, Callie Roberts, and Mary Mascaro also scored a goal each in last nights win. The Panthers now move to 8-5-2 (5-2-2) and will be back in action on Wednesday when they will travel to Mount Lebanon. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

After a scoreless first half, the Big Macs scored two goals before Valentina Sobarzo answered with a goal of her own to cut the lead to one. The Big Macs would ultimately hold on for a 2-1 win, bringing the Panthers record to 7-4-2 (4-1-2). Upper St. Clair will look to rebound on Wednesday when they will host Peters Township. Abby Mascaro led the way with two goals, while Callie Roberts, Anelise Castrodale, Meredith Huzjak, and Valentina Sobarzo each netted one. The Panthers now move to 7-2-2 (4-0-2) on the year and will be back in action tomorrow when they will travel to West Allegheny for a non-section match up.

The Panthers came away with a 2-0 victory as Sierra Dupre scored a first half goal, and Penny Walker scored her first career goal in the second half to seal the victory. Sierra Dupre scored three goals and Callie Roberts and Meredith Huzjak added one each as the Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team defeated Thomas Jefferson, 5-1 today. The Panthers will return to the field on Wednesday when they will host Penn Trafford in the teams home opener.

The Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer team traveled to the South Park Classic today to kick off their season. The Panthers took on Fort LeBoeuf and came home with a 6-1 win. Sierra Dupre led the way with two goals, while Callie Roberts, Chloe Bird, Val Sobarzo, and Ellie Shanholtzer each chipped in one. The Panthers will return to South Park tomorrow to take on Thomas Jefferson.
