Over the past two days the Upper St. Clair Boys Basketball team participated in the Peters Township/Upper St. Clair Holiday Tournament. Yesterday, the Panthers traveled to Peters Township High School for a matchup with the Indians. The Panthers came away with a 68-52 victory as Julian Dahlem led all scorers with 20 points. Nick Sukernek followed Dahlem with 17 points and Matt Gaither rounded out the group adding 12 of his own. Today, Upper St. Clair hosted Beaver High School and could not extend their win streak to three games. The Bobcats took down the Panthers 59-45, as Nick Sukernek scored 14 points. Upper St. Clair, now 5-5 on the season, will be back in action on Tuesday, January 3rd when they will host Hempfield as they open up section play. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
