Plutko wins Boys Tennis Section Singles

Congratulations to Upper St. Clair Junior Tennis player Ari Plutko as he captured the WPIAL Class 3A Section 4 Championship yesterday held at Bethel Park High School. Plutko defeated Bethel Park's Devin Collier in the Championship match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. With the win Plutko has qualified for the WPIAL Championships which will be held next week. Senior Ronan Gibbons also has qualified for the WPIAL Championships as he took 3rd place yesterday with a 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 win in the Consolation final over Peters Township's Avi Sharma.
