Upper St. Clair Senior Volleyball player Bobby Mayberry has been recognized by SWPA Volleyball as a Feature Athlete of the week. Mayberry has been a driving force for the Panthers to start the season and will look to continue his strong play throughout the year. Congratulations to Upper St. Clair Junior Hitter Justin Oswald as he was recently named as a Player of the Week in Class AAA as voted on by the WPIAL Coaches. Oswald recorded 20 kills in the Panthers opening match on Friday against Penn Trafford. Oswald will look to continue his strong start to the 2023 season when the Panthers host Thomas Jefferson on Thursday.

Thanks to all those who attended this week's team tryouts--and congratulations to the boys who made the team.  We are looking forward to a great season!  To start us off, please join the Boosters for a Parent Kickoff Meeting on Tuesday, March 14^th at 6pm.  Meeting will be held in the USC High School Library.  

We will cover many details including game/practice schedule, tournament information, volunteer opportunities, spiritwear and more.  Booster Fees can be paid that night, via check. Cost is $175 per player.  Checks should be made out to the USC Boys Volleyball Booster.  

Also, please note that team and senior pictures will be taken the same evening (Tuesday at 6pm) at the conclusion of practice after which the boys and coaches will join our meeting.  Team photo information and order forms will be handed out in advance by Coaches.

Please note that due to the boys/girls Basketball playoff schedule Boys Volleyball tryouts for next week have been changed as follows:

Mon/Tuesday:      6 pm - 8 pm, please report no later than 5:45

Wed:              4:30 pm - 6:30 pm, please report no later than 4:15

1. 2023 Parent/Player Informational Zoom Meeting:

2. Boys Volleyball Try Outs:

Join Coach Fic and staff on Monday March 6th for the USC Boys Volleyball try outs. Please report to the main gym at 4 pm. Practices will run from 4:30 – 6:30.  Please wear only court shoes, and bring plenty of water.  

Try outs will run from Monday 3/6 – Thursday 3/9, with team members being selected on Thursday March 9th.   If you have questions, or to learn more, join the Parent/Player Zoom meeting on Tuesday, February 21st at 7pm.  During this brief, informative meeting you will learn details about the season, booster fees, practice and game schedules, parent volunteer needs, plus have the opportunity to ask any question you or your son might have about playing for the Panthers Volleyball team.

3. Parent Team Meeting: Season Kick Off:

Join Coach Fic and his coaching staff on Monday March 13th at 6:30 pm for the official USC Boys Volleyball parent kick off meeting. The meeting will be held in the school Library at the conclusion or practice.  During this meeting, Coach Fic and the Booster Board will outline all plans and details for the season including booster fees, volunteer needs, tournament and other key dates.  Please make every effort to attend.  Your 2023 Booster Board officers are:
