USC Bocce Wraps Up Successful 2023 Season
Posted on 02/23/2023
The Upper St. Clair Bocce team advanced to the divisional championships yesterday held at Baldwin High School after a great regular season. The Panthers played two hard-fought matches and earned a fourth place finish in the South Division for the 2023 season. The Panthers will graduate eight seniors from this years team as Zach Ehasz, Brady Erdos, Jacob Hufnagel, Jenna Lazar, Brian Lund, Kylie Mosler, Olivia Roylance, and Buddy Hall will all be greatly missed. The 2024 campaign looks to be another successful one for the Panthers as they will return a core of great players and will look to add new members as well.
On Friday, the team will travel to Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh to participate in a Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. The team will be "Freezin' for a Reason" as they bravely jump into icy cold water along with other groups at the annual fundraiser. The Panthers also sold bracelets and had a bake sale at their home match this year to raise money to be donated to the Special Olympics. The Panther Bocce team thanks everyone for their support in another great season and looks forward to the continued success next year.
