Aidan Crochier continued his strong season, hitting a solo home run and Brayden Wells got the start on the mound, throwing a complete game in the loss. Following a 12-1 victory yesterday, the Panthers couldn't keep their bats hot as they fell 5-2 to the Indians. Nolan Wilson got the start on the mound for the Panthers and threw five solid innings, allowing three runs and striking out seven. On the offensive side, Aidan Crochier continued to produce as he had two hits. The Panthers will be back in action Thursday when they will host Morgantown in a non section game. The Upper St. Clair Baseball team hosted West Mifflin last night in a non section game. The Titans, who entered the game with an 11-1 record, were able to take down the Panthers 5-3. Nolan Wilson tripled and Nico D'Orazio and Thomas Medwig each hit doubles in the loss. The Panthers will return to the diamond on Monday for the first game of a two game series with Peters Township. The game Monday will be played at Peterswood Park and is scheduled for a 7:00 pm start.

Nolan Wilson got the start on the mound for the Panthers and threw six innings, allowing four runs (all unearned) and struck out four as the Panthers took home a 5-4 victory. Brayden Wells came on to pitch the seventh inning and got the save as he struck out two in his lone inning of work. On the offensive side, Cooper Stutzman and Nico D'Orazio each had two hits and D'Orazio added a double. The Panthers led 3-1 after four and a half innings but Trinity would score three runs in the bottom of the fifth and held on for a 4-3 win over the Panthers. Nico D'Orazio and Cooper Stutzman each had two hits and a double on the offensive side. Upper St. Clair will look to even the season series with Trinity tomorrow when they will host the Hillers. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Upper St. Clair Baseball team rebounded from a 7-6 loss to Connellsville yesterday as they took down the Falcons 10-0 to split the season series today. Nolan Wilson got the start on the mound and threw five innings of shutout ball while striking out six. On the offensive side Eli Mandler and Jonathan Stein each had 2-hit games and Aidan Crochier continued his strong season as he homered for the second time in as many days. The Panthers offense was quiet today as they fell in Game 1, 6-0 and in Game 2, 6-2. Brayden Wells started Game 1 and threw 4 1/3 innings and struck out three. Nolan Wilson started Game 2 on the mound throwing five innings and striking out three while also collecting three hits on the day, including a double. The Upper St. Clair Baseball team scored seven runs in the first inning yesterday to carry them to a 15-3 victory over Baldwin. Nico D'Orazio led the way for the Panthers as he had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs. Thomas Medwig, Nolan Wilson, and Eli Mandler all had two hits and Medwig added four RBIs to his stat sheet, while Jackson Angelici hit a two-run home run in the win. Brayden Wells got the start on the mound and threw a complete game, allowing three runs (two earned) and struck out seven. The Panthers trailed 3-0 after 5 complete innings, but battled back to close the Tiger lead to 3-2 as they scored a run in each of the last two innings. In the end, North Allegheny held on for a 3-2 win over the Panthers. Nick Manko got the start on the mound for the Panthers, throwing 4 innings, as he allowed 3 runs and struck out 4. Thomas Medwig relieved Manko as he threw two scoreless innings, keeping the Tiger offense at a minimum. On the offensive side, Eli Rankin and Aiden Crochier each drove in one run and Rankin also recorded a triple. The Panthers will have a busy week next week as they will play three games, the first will be on Monday when they will host Baldwin. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Upper St. Clair Baseball team hosted Central Valley tonight and came away with a 7-6 victory. Nico D'Orazio, Josh Burlingame, and Aidan Crochier all doubled, and D'Orazio added a triple, as each recorded multi-hit games in the win. Brayden Wells got the start on the mound for the Panthers as he threw four shutout innings and Nolan Wilson relieved him to throw the final three and picked up the win. Wilson also recorded a triple at the plate. The Panthers will return to action on Friday when they will travel to North Allegheny.

The Upper St. Clair Baseball team opened up their 2024 season against Mount Lebanon today. The Panthers held a 3-0 lead through 5 1/2 innings before the Blue Devils scored two runs in both the bottom of the sixth and bottom of the seventh to defeat the Panthers, 4-3. Aidan Crochier started his season off in a big way, hitting a home run and driving in two of the three Panther runs. Brayden Wells got the start on the mound for Upper St. Clair, going 6 1/3 innings while striking out four. The Panthers will look to rebound next Thursday when they will host Central Valley.
